Projects can only be created in a Department/Teams, if no Departments have been created you cannot make projects

You can setup, Main or Root Departments in your Organization. For example:

2. Create Sub Departments/Teams within Main Departments/Teams
2. Create Sub Departments/Teams within Main Departments/Teams
You can also create Sub-Departments/Teams within Main Departments/Teams for more granular tracking, For example:
- Tech Organization
- Agency
- Engineering
- Frontend (React, Vue, Angular teams)
- Backend (API, Database, Infrastructure)
- DevOps (CI/CD, Cloud, Security)
- Mobile (iOS, Android)

Creating First Department

Open Magnifi Dashboard

Navigate to Manage Departments Section

Create New Main Department
Click on Add Department Button located on the Top Right of the Window

Give a Name to your Department
Enter the name of the Department and click on either Tick Mark or press
EnterCongrats 🥳You created your First Department
Creating Sub departments

Click `+` icon on main Department
Click on
+ icon next to the name of your Department2
Enter Sub-Department Name
Enter desired name of the Sub Department

Save the name
Press Tick icon, or press
Enter or return (on apple devices)
